“Ready to Schedule” vs “Approved”: What It Means and Where to Find It

Understand the difference between approval states so your content moves forward quickly.

Status Definitions

  • Pending — Draft is ready for your review.
  • Needs Revision — You requested changes; we’re updating the draft.
  • Rejected — You want a full redo of the concept.
  • Approved — You approve the content; we’ll place it into the next scheduling window.
  • Ready to Schedule — Final go-ahead. No further tweaks expected; we’ll prioritize it for scheduling ASAP.

When to Use Each Option

Choose “Approved” if…

  • You’re happy with the draft and OK with our normal scheduling cadence.
  • It’s fine to bundle this with other approved posts.

Choose “Ready to Schedule” if…

  • You want this prioritized into the next available slot.
  • You’ve reviewed everything and don’t expect further changes.
  • There’s a specific date/time in mind (add it as a note before submitting).

Where to Find It Later

  • Items in Pending or Needs Revision appear in your Pending Approvals list.
  • Once marked Approved or Ready to Schedule, they leave the Pending list while we queue them.
  • Scheduled dates are shown in your calendar or approval details when available.
  • Can’t find something? Email contact@avyantmarketing.com and we’ll send a quick status update.

Examples

“Holiday Hours” Announcement
Use Ready to Schedule and add a note with the exact dates you want this to go live.
Evergreen Brand Story Post
Use Approved; we’ll include it in your normal cadence this week.
